It’s been a long time between posts as the fall is always such a busy time of year. This is a card that I made a while ago using the masking tape technique. It’s a quick and easy technique using painters’ tape and a variety of color. For this card, I chose to use varying shades of green – Pear Pizza, Gumball Green and Pistachio Pudding with the card base in Gumball Green. The white layer is glossy white, and while it has been discontinued, you can either use a good photo quality paper or Whisper White as the painters tape is a low tack tape and will not stick too much to the card stock.
Simply cut off a length of the tape and place over your inkpad and tap slightly to pick up the color of the ink pad. Place the tape over your card stock and tap it to adhere the ink color to the card stock and then peel off slowly. Repeat with the other colors you have chosen. The tree is from Lovely as a Tree stamped with Stazon black in.
The sentiment is from Four You. I trimmed the corners using the Envelope Punch Board.
