Pretty Postage

I love the 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain ribbon and because of the width, it's so easy to use it as a large part of your project or as an accent bow.

Pretty Postage Chocolate Chip
Chocolate Chip is the base cardstock.  The layered piece is Very Vanilla run through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots EF and distressed on the edges using the distressing tool from the Cutter Kit (p. 208, #106958, $23.95).  The Chocolate Chip ribbon (now retired) is cut about 6" in length to account for the gather in the middle.  Using a length of Hemp Twine, thread through the button and knot around the ribbon and tie a simple knot.

The sentiment is from the Pretty Postage stamp colored in with Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Chocolate Chip markers and punched with the 1" square punch.  This is layered onto a piece of Chocolate Chip punched with the Postage Stamp punch and popped onto the card with dimensionals.

The sketch was inspired by Teresa Giordano who was featured in SS.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!
