When we arrived at the Vancouver Convention Centre on Friday night for the evening session of the Vancouver Regionals – we were greeted wih a breakthtaking view of the sparkling waters of Burrard Inlet and  the North Shore mountains twinkling in the moonlight on a clear crisp night - an absolutely stunning view.    Little wonder that when people come to visit, many end up moving to our beautiful city -  we are the jewel to the Pacific!

SU said that they were trying an evening session since many work in the downtown area and perhaps an evening session would be more amenable to their schedules- the turnout was probably smaller than they anticipated.  Most of our group attended on Saturday but we got a chance to meet up with some fellow stampers and there were lots of new demos on hand.

I'm so glad that we went on Friday as the weather on Saturday brought snow and as the day progressed it kept coming down and we have an accumulation of about 3".   Hope it thaws soon!
