At our club session on Saturday, I joined in to make one of the jewellery boxes using the Top Note Die and Matchbox Bigz XL die. You know my passion for black and white so I used the Night & Day Specialty paper from the Holiday Mini Catalogue. I so wish that we had more black and white DSP - I'd be using it all the time!
Kathleen had finished her box and I welcomed her assistance with helping me put the boxes together and putting on the filigree brads. Great job, Kathleen.
I finished the top using the Flower, Daisies #2 Bigz die (*p. 199, #114520, $26.95) and placed one of the larger filigree brads in the centre of the daisies and used a clear rhinestone brad from the Pretties Kit in the centre.
AND NOW ON TO BLOG CANDY!
I have two types of blog candy to give away - a stamping kind and an Olympics one. The stamping candy is the stamp set, God's Beauty, all mounted and ready to use and a package of the Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper - one of the sheets you can see under the stamp set.
The other blog candy is a pair of the Olympic mitts. Aren't they cute? A great souvenir from the Olympics that will be held in just 11 days!
All you need to do is leave a comment on this post - it can be a comment on stamping or the Olympics. Please post your comment by Friday, February 5, 8pm and two winners will be drawn at random for each of the blog candy.
Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!

your jewelry box is beautiful and my son is a huge olympics fan. The US Figure Skating Championship was here in Spokane about a week ago. My son got to go and has been talking non-stop about the Olympics since! Thanks for offering!

What a fantastic idea! I LOVE the Olympic mitts. My kids are getting all psyched up for the games. DH even borrowed Super Mario Winter Olympic games for the Wii from one of his co-workers and they've been trying all the events. I never thought I'd see my 15 year old son say, "Mom, you gotta watch me figure skate!" because he usually does not like athletics, but he's lovin' this ...lol.
I'm sure whoever wins this blog candy will be thrilled. Good luck to all!
Hugs,
Snoopy :D
