Another beautiful day! How long will this last? Bella and I just came in from our "walk" - she will only walk within our complex never wanting to venture out beyond the entrance. As we rounded a corner, there were two little kitties sitting there watching her and little black one ran away but the other grey one stood her ground and watched as Bella walked by. Bella kept looking back to see whether she was being followed and quckened her step. We were home within a minute.
In a recent issue of Stampin' Success, they featured this neat card and a couple of months later, here I am with my sample - nothing like being current - lol. Its a delightful and easy card to make.
The card stock I used is Regal Rose, Kiwi Kiss and Pink Pirouette. I added some Raspberry Tart to the bottom of the card.
Here are the measurements:
Pink Pirouette cut 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Kiwi Kiss and Regal Rose 3" x 4 1/4"
Raspberry Tart 2 3/4" x 4 1/4"
On the Regal Rose and Raspberry Tart, I used the Scallop Edge punch on one side.
The layered pieces are cut to accommodate the image with 1/4" increments for layering.
My last piece of Kiwi Kiss Satin ribbon is wrapped around the Kiwi Kiss card stock with the single tie to one side.
Apply SNAIL adhesive to the Raspberry Tart and adhere to the Regal Rose card stock piece.
Apply SNAIL adhesive to the Regal Rose card stock to within 1/4" from the scallop edge side and adhere this to the bottom of the Pink Pirouette card stock.
Fit the Kiwi Kiss piece so that it slips under the scalloped edge of the Regal Rose card stock.
I used a Kiwi Kiss corduroy button to go through all layers on the left edge.
Apply two dimensionals, one above the ribbon and the other below the ribbon and then attach your layered decorative piece.
Once this is in place, you can swing up your top piece and apply a sentiment. I use a thank you sentime from the Kind Thanks set.
Isn't it a cute card? Hope you get a chance to make one and I would love to see your samples - please send to me at dayanna@perfectevent.com and we can share it here with others.
Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!
