I've had the idea of doing a wall hanging with the chipboard coasters that I've had for a while and yesterday I started to put it together using the Walk in the Park DSP in the Occasions Mini. I've also had the Serif Essentials Alphabet sitting unopened on the shelf for the longest time and finally took the package apart and use some of the dies. I love the font of the letters in the Alphabet set but now I need more storage containers! LOL.
This is the result.
I cut out three 4"x4" pieces of DSP and covered the chipboard. The letters are cut from Regal Rose card stock. I used some Baja Breeze, Regal Rose and Pink Pirouette scraps to punch out the flowers using the 5 Petal Flower and Boho Blossoms punches and layered them. In the centre of the flowers are pink Rhinestone brads.
After attaching the Pewter Jumbo Brads I threaded Rose Grosgrain through them from the bottom to the top. I used a lot of ribbon and could have cut small pieces for each section but I seem to like doing things the long way and never cost effective I also cut out 4"x4" pieces of Regal Rose card stock and covered the backs of the coasters to give it a finished look.
I've spent the last 4 days in the craft room and still haven't put a dent into all the projects I want to work on - its just like playing all day!
Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!

Very cute. I did something very similar for a friend's new baby.
