My order for a sneak peek of some of the goodies in the new catalogue coming out in just 3 weeks arrived last week and I finally got a chance to put them together.  We are allowed to purchase a Level 2 and a Level 3 hostess set and the one I chose to get is a Level 3 set called Dream a Little.  It features a flower using the two step stamping, two flowers stems, a hummingbird, a leafy stem and the sentiment "Dream a Little".  It's an absolutely gorgeous set.

This week's sketch challenge on SCS also intrigued me so I gave it a whirl with Dream a Little and the Parisian Summer DSP.  This is the sketch:

The card base is Bravo Burgundy with a mat of the floral Bravo Burgundy Parisian Summer.  The second portion is a Bravo Burgundy cardstock matted with a floral So Saffron Parisian Summer.  The third piece is Bravo Burgundy cardstock matted with a floral pink Parisian Summer and the fourth layer is Bravo Burgundy cardstock, a So Saffron cardstock mat with the corners punched with the Ticket Corner Punch and the top layer is Whisper White.  I used the single flower stem from Dream a Little and used Always Artichoke, Regal Rose, Rose Red and So Saffrom markers to colour it in.  I also used the splatter stamp from Itty Bitty Backgrounds and lightly touched the Whisper White in both Pink Pirouette and So Saffron and also sponged the edges with those two colours.  I added a border of paper piercing on this layer. The sentiment is from Fresh Cuts and completed the card with the half pearls from the Pretties Kit.
