Now that you've seen the new catalogue, are you as excited as I am about all the wonderful new sets and the fantastic accessories? I just don't know where to start - from new designer papers, exciting new Big Shot dies, super new ribbon and three new punches and oh, so much more!
With Valentine's just around the corner I wanted to share with you this mail box that I made using the Raspberry Tart designer paper.

Raspberry Tart designer paper (page 160, #113975, $11.75) featuring Kiwi Kiss in a paisley pattern was used on the main body of the mailbox. At the ends of the box, I used another pattern with Kiwi Kiss and large flowers. I cut out one of the flowers to attach to the post on the box.
Rose grosgrain ribbon covered the edges on the end. I cut a strip of Regal Rose cardstock to wrap around the mail box and used the scallop edge punch on both sides. Kiwi Kiss striped grosgrain ribbon was layered on top of that. The birds from Love You Much (page27, #113756, $30.95) were stamped on Whisper White. I stamped the birds on a smaller pattern pieces of the designer paper and cut out the bodies and adhered them over the birds. I then punched them with the Large Oval punch and sponged around the edges. I also punched out the smaller heart from the Heart to Heart punch (page 185, #113694, $19.95) in Regal Rose cardstock to place between the birds. This piece was placed on the mail box with dimensionals.
At the front end of the mail box the Love stamp from Love You Much was stamped on Whisper White and coloured in with Regal Rose and Old Olive markers. I cut another small flower from the DSP and placed it in the middle of the letter "o". A So Saffron brad was used in the centre of the tiny flower.
