What's special about celebrating a birthday?  It's special because my granddaughter, Danielle, and I share the same birth date.   How wonderful is that to celebrate a birthday wtih her each year and today we're celebrating!

Danielle loves chocolate!  Chocolate milk, chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake – anything chocolate, she enjoys – and she loves bling!  So here's a dazzling chocolate cupcake for you, Dani.

This is also one of the birthday cards that we did last week at my friend Theresa's workplace class.  We made three birthday cards and this one was timed perfectly for Danielle's birthday. 

The cardbase is Chocolate Chip, with mats of Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and the designer paper  is Sweet Always.  The cupcake and sentiment are from Crazy for Cupcakes.  The "confetti" in the frosting was coloured with Pretty in Pink, Pumpkin Pie and YoYo Yellow markers.  The frosting was made with Two Way Glue and dusted with Dazzling Diamonds.  The cupcake was made with Close to Cocoa.
